Meet up at Texaco Station Coral Canyon (around the corner from Zion Harley Davidson). This week is a special ride... we'll still meet up at  the Texaco Station in Coral Canyon, (KSU 9:30 AM) if you are  further south, see below for special instructions: This week's ride will be the Caliente loop. we are planning to ride to Moapa, scoot over to US93, up to Caliente for lunch, and back home through Enterprise and south on UT18. It's a 299 mile ride. Expect temps from chilly to hot. We'll leave the Coral Canyon Texaco right at 9:30 so get there early.  For those of you that are are further south, we'll pick you up at Terrible's Gas Station off I-15 Exit 2 approx 9:45.. Come join the Drifters for a ride down to the Mesquite Car Show! DRIFTER RIDE TO THE MESQUITE MOTOR MADNESS CAR SHOW The Covid delayed Mesquite Motor Madness is finally happening this Friday and Saturday May 21st and 22nd. The annual Drifter ride to the car show will be on Friday the 21st. It's less crowded than on Saturday. We will meet at Exit 2 Terrible’s Chevron at 9:30 AM. We will meet in the parking lot of the large building behind Terrible’s. We will ride to the show and after catch as catch can parking we will be off to check out all the fine “shorts” found mostly at the old, torn down, Oasis Casino hotel parking lot across the street from the Casablanca hotel and casino. Some cars will be on display at the Casablanca as well. A few might be down at the Virgin River or Eureka casinos too. This is the biggest car show in the area each year and has vehicles brought in from all over the western states, many we’ve not seen before. Lunch will be on your own or with other Drifters you run across during your hike through the venue. Some Drifters grab lunch at McDumps on the main drag, you can walk. You may return home when you have had enough car show. There will be no scheduled Drifter ride back to our home base but you can link up with other Drifters for the return ride. Come join us for dinner at fabulous Rusty's Ranch House Steak House in Cedar City.  Dinner is at 6:00pm.  Please RSVP to Lynne before 6/6/21 at 435-691-5576.  Restaurants are having a rough time getting help, so please let's help them with a firm headcount. Meet up at Texaco Station Coral Canyon Exit 16  (around the corner from Zion Harley Davidson). This Thursday's ride is to Bryce Canyon Pines restaurant on SR 12 just before the turn off to Bryce Canyon. We'll stop there for lunch.  The ride will include a rest stop at Canyon Park in Cedar City, a stop at the scenic lookout at Cedar Breaks, a gas stop in Panguitch, Red Canyon (twice!), and a rest stop at Mt. Carmel Junction. We'll call the ride at the LaVerkin Maverik. KSU at 8:30AM at Coral Canyon Texaco in Hurricane.  (Gas, Snacks & Facilities available.)   See you there!
