Drifters MCIt's the ride, not the destination!

This is always one of the most popular events with the Drifters and we're so happy it's back! Come and have a great time celebrating Independence Day! Our July 4th BBQ/Potluck/Swim/Fireworks party is coming up fast!  Magrete will have burgers & dogs with buns & condiments as well as her yummy home-made potato salad.  Please bring a side dish, dessert or appetizer to share - chips/dips, watermelon, salads, cookies etc...  As always, Drifters will provide soft drinks, bottled water & ice.  Feel free to bring whatever else you wish to drink.  Please RSVP Margrete at 435-229-0312 by 6/30 so we'll have enough burgers and dogs. Arrive about 3-ish, bring your bathing suit and plan on staying to watch the Hurricane City Fireworks show that can be seen from Margrete's backyard!   Drifters, This Thursday we are riding to Jacob Lake for a late breakfast.  We will leave the Coral Canyon Texaco at 8:30, take a short break at Pipe Springs, and arrive at Jacob Lake at about 10:30. If we're late (after 11:00) we'll have to have lunch. On the way home we'll go through Kanab, the Cane Beds road, and call the ride at the Hurricane Maverik. The ride is 195 miles. On Saturday mornings between 11-11:30am, several Drifters have been known to get together and enjoy a donut at Zion Harley Davidson.  Sometimes they just enjoy the company and conversation, many times an impromptu ride will happen. Those that show up will decide ride destination.   See ya there!

“A short ride is better than no ride”   Steve is riding to Kanarraville  on Thursday for breakfast at Linskis Grill, and then home before it gets too hot. This Thursday's ride (Aug 5th) wil be another breakfast ride to beat the heat. KSU at 8:00 AM at the Coral Canyon Texaco. We'll ride up to Cedar City and have breakfast at the All American Diner on Main Street. Our northern members can meet us there if they'd like around 9:00 AM.
