The Drifters are riding to Torrey, UT May 19-20. 12 Rooms are blocked out at the Broken Spur Inn. Call now to reserve yours. Once those 12 rooms are reserved, there may not be any more rooms available.

 

Day 1: Here’s the Route.

1. Meet at Coral Canyon Texaco in Hurricane at 8:30 AM with a full tank of gas, Kickstands up at 9:00.
2. Ride through Zion NP (bring your NP pass) to Mt. Carmel where we’ll stop for a break. Gas up for tiny tanks. Everyone else can wait to gas up near Bryce.
3. US 89 to SR 12 and stop at the Chevron just before Bryce for gas. This is 120 miles from our starting point.
4. Lunch stop in Tropic at Route 12 Grill.
5. Gas and a break at the Sinclair in Escalante.
6. Boulder, Boulder Mtn. to Broken Spur Inn in Torrey.

Day 2: Here’s the Route

1. Breakfast at the Broken Spur Inn (included with your room)
2. Gas up at Torrey.
3. Gather at the bikes as 8:40, kickstands up at 9:00.
4. Ride around Johnson Reservoir and Fish Lake with a break at the Fish Lake lodge.
5. Stop at the Grass Valley Merc in Koosharem for gas for bikes with tiny tanks. There’s only 1 pump here. Everyone else can gas up at Bryce, 130 miles from Torrey.
6. Through Antimony and gas up at Bryce. Lunch at Ruby’s Inn.
7. Panguitch, Panguitch Lake, and take a break at Duck Creek.
8. Gas up at the Maverick in Cedar City.
9. I-15 to home.

Hotel Information

There are 12 rooms (5 kings & 7 double queens) blocked out for our group May 19, 2020 under the name “Drifters”.  Call 435-425-3775 to reserve your room with your credit card. Ask for the “Drifters” group on May 19.  Ask for Carla, but if she is not there then the front desk can help you.  The rate is $115.00 plus tax, per room, per night = $127.27. Your room includes a hot buffet breakfast from 7am to 9:30am.  Any of the 12 rooms that are not booked by April 19 will be released. There is no individual cancellation charge 24 hours prior to arrival. There is an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, coin operated guest laundry  and a steakhouse on the property.
