Drifters Newsletter March 2018
From The Editor……
March already? Yes, and of course that means another exciting month of rides and activities for all you Drifters and Drifterettes! We’ve been blessed with a mild winter so far and have only had a couple of spots of inclement weather to foil our riding. Successful activities so far in 2018 have been January’s New Year’s Day Polar Bear Ride, the Mesquite Motor Mania Car Show ride, the Drifter annual; business meeting and pot luck at Dawn and Mark’s plus our regular weekly Drifter breakfast at the Village Inn and of course our weekly standing rides and the usual Zion Harley dealer burger and dog BBQ lunch with a Drifter ride afterward weather permitting. February saw a terrific Super Bowl party at Margrete’s, our Drifter Valentine Day lunch, a Kanab Balloon Festival overnight ride that for various reasons (including a lack of interest and cold weather) didn’t happen. Only Drifter Steve Sarchett who didn’t know the ride was cancelled braved the cold and rode to Kanab for the day.
Hope to see you all out for March’s goings on and maybe some warmer weather will grace us this month! Try to make it to one of our weekly breakfasts or rides so’s we don’t forget each other’s names. We have been riding Wednesdays from Exit 4 Bloomington Chevron KSU at 11:00 AM. Thursday is breakfast at the Village Inn at 9:30 AM and Friday is breakfast at the Golden Corral again at 9:30 and of course the Zion Harley burgers gross out and ride after. Check the ride schedule for details! Ride safely!!!!
